Strings missing in POT file?

I'm translating 0.10.0 Everything works really great (thanks for the fixed special characters tamlyn) but after compiling the translation some of the texts are still not translated and are not even in singapore.pot or singapore.admin.pot
To be specific it’s image/gallery count below album name e.g. 5 images or 1 gallery; hits count Viewed: 16 times and navigation on galleries level Previous gallery | Up | Next gallery. I have used pot files included in download package and tried also tools/merge function but had just some errors due to safe_mode.

Re: Strings missing in POT file?

Oops I didn't extract the new strings before the release. Updated POTs are available in this topic.

Re: Strings missing in POT file?

I'm sorry for that but still can't find those strings even in new POTs.

Re: Strings missing in POT file?

Thanks Tamlyn, everything's working now. Well, not completely everything since plural forms are acting really strange. Number 1 is ignored as a different plural form for Slovak. But since it won't be to often to have 1 gallery or 1 picture in the gallery, it's not a big deal and I'm not in mood to learn C languge and play with plural forms definitions. So I've posted Slovak translation on Translation Tracker.

Anyway, I suspect there still might be some strings missing in admin POT file. I had a message in English after having translated everything. Problem is that I didn't make a note about what message it is and can't find it anymore. Maybe worth checking.

And I have a suggestion. I think in all cases when a text is combined with a number it should be handled as plural form string. Example: Next 5  does not have plural forms in English, but e.g. in Slovak it does.

Re: Strings missing in POT file?

Ah thanks for that, bjs! I will make all numbers plurals when I get a chance.
