Re: 'Cleanup' script to help uninstall

Content generated by singapore is usually owned by the web server process which means that when you want to delete it yourself you can be confronted with "permission denied errors".

This script simply goes through all the files in your singapore installation and tries to make them world writable. Once this is done you should be able to delete the files just like any other file on your website.

TO USE: simply download the attached archive, upload the cleanup.php file to your singapore root directory (the one containing singapore.ini and admin.php) and run it by pointing your browser at it (i.e. go to mysite.com/singapore/cleanup.php). That's it!

This file will be included as standard in the next release.

Hi Tamlyn,

Do you think it'd be possible to come up with a script that reverses the actions? hmm

Regards,

Re: 'Cleanup' script to help uninstall

The download seems to have gone missing which probably happened when the forums were hacked a few weeks back. However the cleanup script is now included as standard in the singapore distribution in the tools/ directory.
