Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

That would usually mean that that function call is not available to php, might be how you installed PHP and apache ...

Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

Check your phpinfo() if this command was disabled.

Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

I've had some issues running singapore in php 5 myself, even on my local machine, apache and php5.  Just to add to this.

Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

I also run the SGAL system as a heavely modified version with php 5 on apache and never had those issues, so I feel its server dependent and probably because of how it was installed ...

Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

I use a mac, and it creates this hidden files "ds store" that I find give me issues.  I actually have to use a program to delete these hidden files throughout my sites. Today I could not delete files through my admin till I removed these hidden files.

Re: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_name()

Funny you say that. I have found that macs althogh good for print design and music are not very net freindly at all I think there prety bad for net use thats my opin, and what I have found, PC is just a lot better for net use ...

However the other user did not mention mac so I do not think thats the problem he is having.
